Central Florida Crusaders Men Blitz Past Tampa Bay

ORLANDO, FL - The Central Florida Crusaders put on a show at Addition Financial Arena on Saturday night, scoring 14 goals en route to a 14-3 win over the Tampa Bay Strikers. 

Rapha Tobias got things started in the first quarter before the Crusaders rattled off eight straight goals, leading 8-0 heading into the 4th quarter.

Forward Maycon França took his place atop the NISL goal leaders, scoring five goals in the game. The Brazilian forward now has eight for the season after netting a hat trick in the first game.

Tobias scored his second hat trick in a row, while Eduardo Cruz had his second brace of the season. Alexandre Texeira and Rodolfo Alvarez scored their first goals in black and gold, while Rodolfo Lopes scored his second. 

Tampa would score three goals in the final frame, with Nico Meola scoring twice and Camilo Fuentes adding another.

The Crusaders will now play their first road game of the season, taking on the Tampa Bay Strikers in Tampa on Sunday, February 26th.
