ORLANDO, FL - The Central Florida Crusaders starting goalkeeper Michelle Melo has departed the team, after signing a contract to join Deportivo Saprissa Fútbol Femenino in the Primera División Femenina in Costa Rica.
"We're always excited for our players to have opportunities to grow in the game and further their careers," Crusaders Head Coach Tom Traxler said. "We support Michelle in every step of the journey and wish her every success that soccer can bring her."
Melo started both of the Crusaders' matches so far this season, averaging five saves per match.
