Crusaders Sign Forward Victor Rada
Orlando, FL – The Central Florida Crusaders have announced the signing of former Orlando SeaWolves and Milwaukee Wave forward Victor Rada.
"I love having my former players come back and play for me again," GM and Head Coach Tom Traxler said, "Victor is young and very talented and he has indoor soccer experience already so he combines his youth with being a seasoned indoor pro."
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Rada attended Missouri Baptist University, scoring two goals and adding six assists in his final year. From there, he signed his first professional contract with the Orlando SeaWolves of the MASL, scoring one goal in three games played. Rada would go on to sign for the Milwaukee Wave in 2021, playing in three games.
The forward has also played outdoor for Crush FC and Athletico Orlando, both in the UPSL.
Recently, Rada has started coaching for the IDEA Sports Soccer Academy at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, coaching the 2013 Pre-MLS Boys and 2010 Girls Pro. While coaching, Rada has also started a sports recovery center in Orlando called Extra Mile Care to help improve players' injuries and performance.
"Once again, preparation meets opportunity," Rada said, "I’ve been working on myself for a moment like this. I'm happy to be here and ready to put in the work!"
