No stranger to championship games, Keown won 3 Georgia State Championships before moving to play for the University of Memphis and Lobos Rush WPSL team. “It’s always an honor to be recognized for achievements I make while playing the sport that I love. Playing for the Americans gave me the opportunity to showcase what I do best, but it would not have been possible without my coaches, teammates, and the support from the Memphis community. I am beyond grateful to be playing at this level, and proud to be a part of such a special team.”
“Kelsey was consistently the best midfielder in the league last year,” says Head Coach, Corey Adamson. “Beyond all the points she scored, the plays she made off the ball on offense, defense, and in transition play were a major factor in the success this team had this season.”
