National Indoor Soccer League Unveils Full 2024 Schedule

TAMPA, FL — The National Indoor Soccer League (NISL) is thrilled to announce its much-anticipated 2024 schedule, featuring an action-packed regular season and a thrilling postseason tournament. With six teams vying for supremacy, soccer enthusiasts are in for a treat as the league kicks off its third season this January.

The 2024 regular season will see six teams - Fayetteville Fury, Albany Aces, Foundry FC, Magic City SC, Tampa Bay Strikers, and Central Florida Crusaders - engage in a fiercely competitive 12-game schedule. Each team will play six home and six away games, bringing soccer excitement to fans across the league’s playing region.

NISL Commissioner, Gary Tufford, shared, "With the 2024 season fast approaching, the anticipation of kick off is building more than ever. New markets, new players and some new rules are sure to make this coming season our best yet. The NISL game is faster and more exciting than any other soccer around and I can't wait to get things started". 

NISL will welcome three expansion teams this year, including its first team in Alabama, Magic City SC. Joining this Birmingham-area team this season will be two Georgia based teams – Foundry FC and Albany Aces. North Carolina’s Fayetteville Fury returns for its third campaign in the league with Tampa Bay Strikers and Central Florida Crusaders from the Orlando area, set to compete in their sophomore seasons. Notably, the Memphis Americans will be taking a hiatus for the 2024 season with aspirations of returning to the league in 2025.

The schedule is set to commence on Saturday, January 13, with the Fayetteville Fury facing off against the Albany Aces at 2:00 pm local time. The following weeks will feature thrilling matchups showcasing the exceptional talent and skill of NISL athletes, with the regular season concluding at the beginning of May.

The postseason tournament is scheduled in one of the league’s expansion markets this year, promising a spectacular showcase of talent and competition. The tournament, sponsored by Discover Shelby, the City of Pelham and Pelham Civic Complex & Ice Arena, will kick off on Saturday, May 18, with the championship games set for Sunday, May 19. The regular season champions from each division will play for the league titles, awaiting Saturday’s semi-final winners - a showdown of the two and three seeds.
